Rostom Voskanyan passed away in the USA

On August 11 the Iranian Armenian architect, professor of Tehran State University, Honorary Doctor of Yerevan State University of Architecture and Construction Rostom Voskanyan passed away in the USA.

Doctor Voskanyan was born in 1932, in Iran, graduated from Tehran University, faculty of architecture.

In 1964-1985 he led the department of architecture of Tehran State University. In the recent years he lived and worked in the United States of America.

In 2012 doctor Voskanyan granted the Yerevan History Museum more than 2000 museum samples representing the Iranian and Armenian culture, which got high assessment of specialists.

R. Voskanyan was one of the best friends of the museum, a good Armenian Man, whose irreparable loss was a hard blow for Armenian people.
