Yerevan History Museum will join in the “Museum Night” event
Yerevan History Museum would like to invite everybody to take part in the actions to be held on May 21, at 18.00 within the frames of «Museum night» event. This year’s motto is « Museums and cultural landscapes».
Program of the events to be held at Yerevan History museum on 21.05.2016
within the frames of the pan-European action «Museum night»
●18:00-24:00 – interactive action «Alive photo»
The visitors will be presented 4 photos from the archive of the YHM describing Yerevan at the beginning of the 20th century. Next to each photo, in special empty frames the heroes on the photo «will come to life». The visitors also can «appear» in the photos.
●18.00.- Presentation of the new samples enriching the exhibition of Yerevan History Museum, within the scope of which the researchers of the museum will present:
●18:00 – The fountain of Yerevan fortress (17th century) and the history of the fortress
●19:00 – Market scales of old Yerevan (19th century)
●20:00 – stained-glass window of a dwelling house in Yerevan (18-19th century)
●21:00 – The old clock of Yerevan (19th century)
The event start at 18.00. The museum is open till 24.00. We are waiting for you.
