Nikol Aghababyan’s solo exhibition opens

In the exhibition hall of the Yerevan History Museum opened the personal exhibition of works of painter Nikol Aghababyan, which was dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the RA Independence.

There are presented 27 new works of art the theme of which are Artsakh war and peace, Great Genocide, national values and religion. It’s notable that on the first days of Artsakh war Nikol Aghababyan created his “The colour of light” and in 1992 his exhibition was opened in Shushi and then in Stepanakert.

“Independence is everything for me. I can’t say that bright colours stand for my only positive emotions. I think that the particulars of an artist soul shouldn’t be entirely opened, but there should be shown what an artist understands after experiencing emotions. I am grateful to the City Hall and to Yerevan mayor Karen Karapetyan for support in opening the exhibition”, said Nikol Aghababyan.

The exhibition is open till October 15. Entrance is free.
